Murai in Love Anime's 1st Promo Video Reveals More Cast, Ending Song Artists, October TV Debut





The anime for "Murai in Love" manga released its first trailer. It will start airing in Japan in October. The trailer also introduced new characters and revealed the ending song by Yabai T-Shirt Ya-san.

Some new characters include Kiriyama, played by Kōhei Amasaki, Hirai by Haruki Ishiya, and Yamakado by Masaya Matsukaze. Hōchū Ohtsuka will be the narrator.

The show will premiere exclusively on Disney+ this fall. The main cast includes Kengo Takanashi as Murai, Yōko Hikasa as Ayano Tanaka, and Nobunaga Shimazaki as Hitotose.

The anime is directed by Yoshiki Yamakawa and scripted by Susumu Yamakawa. Ruka Kawada is in charge of music, and Jin Aketagawa is the sound director.

The story follows Murai, a high school student who falls for his teacher, Tanaka. When Tanaka rejects him, Murai transforms himself into her favorite game character to win her over.

The manga, created by Junta Shima, started in 2018 and ended in 2022. It inspired a live-action series on TBS in 2022.
